The Timmins Family Counselling Centre provides timely and accessible mental health, trauma, and wellness services to individuals, couples, families, and workplaces in our community.

If you are looking for welcoming and professional support to help you make sense of life's daily challenges or more unique struggles, we can help.

Our clinicians provide a wide range of therapeutic services and programs offered in a non-judgemental and confidential space. We work with individuals who are 12 years of age through adult of every gender, sexual orientation, and cultural background.

The first step includes attending an individual intake assessment to determine your counselling needs and preferences. The intake appointment can be scheduled over the phone or in person, and is free of charge for everyone. Once completed, we are able to determine if you qualify for any of our programs or services either through Ministry funding, your EAP, or through your health benefits provider. Not everyone will qualify for services at no or low cost therefore, fees may apply. Upon scheduling your initial counselling session following your intake appointment, we will clarify should any fees apply to you.

Amid the many challenges you may be faced with, we can assist with issues such as, but not limited to:
