In operation since 1979, the TFCC was incorporated on June 1, 1982 under the name of Centre de counselling familial de Timmins Inc./Timmins Family Counselling Centre Inc. Through the years, the TFCC has consistently pursued it's objectives to develop new programs and hire fully qualified staff in order to better serve the City of Timmins and surrounding communities.

The Timmins Family Counselling Centre is committed to providing programs and services in both official languages and according to the French Language Services Act.

We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who represents the community that it serves. The Board is responsible for the integrity of governance and strategic leadership for the organization.
